Happy birthday Michael Jordan! And what better way to celebrate than to bring back the shoe he won his first championship in? His Airness has heard the plea of his sneakerhead fans and launched a retro release of the original Air Jordan III White Cement sneaker with the “Nike Air” logo on the heel.
This piece of History dropped in the stores on February 6th exactly 25 years after Michael Jordan took off from the free throw line and sailed trough the air to throw down an amazing dunk and win the NBA Slam Dunk contest. He did this wearing the White Cement Air Jordan III sneakers, the first ones featuring the Jumpman on the tongue, the first ones to have visible air pockets, and the first ones with the iconic elephant print on the toe and on the heel.
