Jean-Michel Basquiat / Chelsea, New York
Last week, a couple of friends and I attended the opening of Basquiat’s incredible paintings at Gagosian’s gallery in Chelsea NY. When I was a young girl, I watched the film ‘Basquiat’ made in 1996, directed by Julian Schnabel, and I fell in love with the story, and the art.
It will be up until April 6. Address: 555 West 24th street.
